A representative office to look after the needs of a growing number of Wood-Mizer sawmill owners in the country followed next.
The brand’s continued growth in the country has now prompted the opening of a Wood-Mizer approved dealership in Monrovia.
The new dealership will be managed by sawmilling veteran and established Wood-Mizer user in Liberia, Sam Wazni.

Sam is an experienced businessman with a highly profitable sawmill that he started in 2014 one of his many business successes. The sawmill that relies almost entirely on Wood-Mizer technology, currently exports sawn timber products to markets around the world.
The successes that Sam and his business partner recorded with Wood-Mizer convinced him to become Wood-Mizer’s dealer principal in Liberia.
The dealership, known as Greenfield Inc. Liberia, will service Wood-Mizer customers in the country from its showroom and workshop facilities in Monrovia.
The availability of new machines, after sale service support and an experienced team of sawmilling experts that sawmillers in Liberia can rely on, is set to transform the sawmilling sector in the country.

Sawmillers with access to modern and affordable sawmilling technology can now bypass the bottlenecks that previously prevented them from starting profitable sawmilling business in the country.
Logs harvested in Liberia can now be cut locally into high-value export quality timber instead of being exported in log form. Logs exports earn relatively low prices if compared to the high value that sawn timber can fetch internationally.
